About Wagon Wheel

Welcome to what is, in my opinion, one of the best places to live in the O.C.   Wagon Wheel is a small community located about 5 miles east of the 5 fwy at Oso Parkway.  We are a relatively small community of about 200o homes.   Sitting next to us is the beautiful O’Riley Park.  Sometimes I can stand at my kitchen window and see a family of deer roaming up in the hills or, from time to time, I might catch a glimpse of a roadrunner crossing the street.  On a beautiful day, it is great to walk with the kids over to Wagon Wheel Park where they can play.  Equally great is the fact that I can walk my kids to school each and every morning….they love thier school.  Wagon Wheel Elementary School offers K-5.  On a beautiful Saturday morning it is nice to be able to ride our bikes into nearby O’Riley National Park where we can enjoy a picnic near a beautiful lake.

On the days that we prefer a more city feel, we are only a few miles away.  Surrounding us is Rancho Santa Margarita, Ladera Ranch and Mission Viejo.  Each of these cities have something unique to offer.  Rancho Santa Margarita has theaters, lakes, shops, great places to eat….don’t miss Cinnamon Productions for a great breakfast, and parks.  Ladera Ranch offers even more parks, unique shops and great walking paths.  Mission Viejo has a beatuiful lake that is great to stroll.

ALthough these cities are great places to visit, it is so nice to have the ability to visit them but still come home to the quite country feel of Wagon Wheel.  After all, where can you get access to all this and only pay $45 a month is HOA as well as a very low tax rate.
